Still with me though far away;
Never farther than thoughts can sway,
And I am with them as they with you;
Or, if asleep, your picture sight
Awakens my heart for both my heart and eyes’ delight.
TRADUCTION
Avec moi bien qu’éloignée;
Pas bien plus loin que mes pensées,
Auprès d’elles je suis, auprès de toi elles résident;
Ou, si assoupies, ton image devant mes yeux
Réveille mon coeur plaisir du coeur plaisir des yeux.

sans être fortiche en anglais, l’original se suffit à lui-même et se lit assez facilement, non ? la paraphrase est inutile, ma soeur.
voire fausse : tso-drafitra “thyself away art resent…” mi-parafrazy mivadi-drafitra “still with me though far away”. le “though” est un ajout patent qui n’existe pas dans l’original. Tahakan’ilay “both” noforonina amin’ny andalana farany.
Défi de traduction : rendre la série thyself/farther/thoughts en concordance, idem “still wiTH THem and THey wiTH THee” tena very. tahakan’ilay STILL miverimberina kanefa tsy hita trace ao anaty TRADUCTION.

Concernant la paraphrase, il est indéniable que la richesse shakespearienne est perdue au profit d’une symétrie forcée des rimes et la pauvreté de mon vocabulaire. Et si j’avais été capable de rendre cette élégance stylistique voire de l’approcher un temps soit peu, je ne serai pas f*** mais écrivain
